See my soul
Look at me
See my pain, my struggles, my love
Listen carefully
To my voice, my cry for help, my plea for justice
I am just like you but why...
Do you see my colour, the texture of my hair, the shape of my nose?
I am still just like you
2 eyes,2 ears,1 mouth and 1 nose
We are the same.... do you see that?
Do you see fear because you think I’m different?
Do you see my race and think I’m only half unique, half human?
Do you become deaf to my opinions because I speak a different tongue?
