Brian Anthony Allen Hayes Poems

Its a merciless place this world of ours.

Do not let it fool you with rainbows and flowers.
...

Time to look ahead, and see beauty in the fore,
time to look at pebbles laced with tracks of white,
pink shells,
black peppered sand and more.
...

Take my hand my special lady, let me share your pain.

I will be there when you need support with my shield
and canopeum for your rain.
...

Can you feel through time and space, the love I send to you?

Not through the smile set on my face,
but from my soul with gilded edge to surround your darkest cloud.
...

Oh! where are you going, you clouds in the sky?

"We are going to Africa, where people might die"

She Will Always Be The Boss

Its a merciless place this world of ours.

Do not let it fool you with rainbows and flowers.

Nature is the mistress, she rules with an iron hand.
She took no prisoners when she made this land.

she will clear in an instant, places which took years to build,
and tear us apart, and cause famine and fear.

We can pray to the Lord but he seems no where near.

So let us be kind and treat with respect, this worlds rich resources,
and let's not forget.

If we rob her and hurt her, and trick and pretend,

She will spit Magma and bite us, and gather her friends.
Then we will be sorry, she will win in the end.
