the rain sounds so active,

Wasted Self

A quiet man cloaked in darkness,
his foundation crushed and gone.
Just broken thoughts to lighten his way,
for a journey that took too long.

He's tried so hard to let things go,
Only to then find,
Depression in him took over,
conquering his feeble mind.

A heavy burden to carry,
but his shoulders seemingly bare,
his burdens are his scares,
too deep to repair.

Blackened his emotions,
where ever he then goes.
His soul is still lost,
but who cares no one knows.

Don't cry for this man,
the tearing inside him you'll never understand.

He's unable to walk now
Crawling the streets.
A person without support
Is a person with no feet.
