Daddy (Writen By A Friend)

darkness sourounds her as she sits in the corner
the cold of the draft
the rymthmic beating of her heart

she fights back the tears that feircly blind her
it can always find
the drifting tobaco
she coughs with a shiver
and thinks what happend to daddy?
where did he go? i don't understand
she thinks to her self
the one who held me when I scraped my knee
the one who called me his little princess
who made me feel beatiful
when i had acne and untamed hair
the one who kissed me gently on the forehead
But he drifted away like smoke in the basement
he no longer strukes her cheeks
because daddy is no longer there
