Bryan Lordeus Poems

Underneath the midnight moon
Nocturnal heart shines in the black void
Man on the moon cries to me
Sadly, a faint whisper in the distance
...

'Big brother is watching you'
Said the eldest sibling
From his eagle view
Preferably without permission
...

Who am I?
I am someone not worth concerning yourself
A person, even myself i would not help
You would either burn me at stakes or kill me through stealth

Nocturnal Heart (Rhyming Edgar Allen Poe)

Underneath the midnight moon
Nocturnal heart shines in the black void
Man on the moon cries to me
Sadly, a faint whisper in the distance
Perhaps he is a witness to my testimony
Maybe a fiendish fiend or a dear friend
Eyes deceive, heart bleeds, and my mind tricks me
The stone monument is just
Another crater on its lunar surface
An altar of her wisdom
I plead, dear Athena
Is my knowledge a blessing from thee?
Cuts run deep and pain flows flee
Daughter of demons
Does this please thee?
As the decaying tree of Poe's poetry
And the shadow of he pour over me
the cup does overflow with woe, indeed
If it grants she sweet dreams
Then bury me alive, cry, and forsake me
Its under the floorboard
This beating heart, you have the part
now that we have depart
Do you require more?
Like a circling, cackling, crew of crows
Do you suggest murder?
Then hang me, maim me
As such, your departure has done to me
Flee, feelings
My heart no longer longs thee
Seek sanctuary in another's needs
Surely, she is Lilith
From her mouth spills filth and
Feelings no longer fill me
It has yet to reach the ceiling
Accompany me, obsidian avion
I inquire these questions
Will true love be bestowed this troubled soul?
Is this the end of the road?
does what await me is heavens pavements of gold?
Will my funeral be her celebration?
Shall a lost love lose what's gone?
Will a hopeless romantic babble pedantics?
Are my pleas to thee shallow and frantic?
Accursed raven, is it only this and nothing more?

Nevermore
It is nothing, no less nor no more
A lovers tragedy
Lament, lone wanderer
For such is life
Engagment at birth
Your true wife
From the seeds of woe reap the fruit of malice
Your garden of Eden is infested with serpents
Subservient scholar,
Call her what you may
She shall soon be a dying rose,
Wilting, wasting away in decay
A beautiful eulogy,
Unmoving lips will beseech
Surely shall I remain perched on this gray stone of lore
Her allure no longer haunts thee
Await the day you rise up
And be cursed, forever more
Earth shall forever cling to he
That inquire lost love
Heavens gates bar your entrance
Chivalrous romantic
Remain in eternal trance
The path is winding
The winds are unconcerning
Do you stand a chance?
There, dear traveler
Lie the answers you implore
Athena finds worth in thee
Forever more
