Bryan Santos Poems

I feel lost, I feel alone.
I feel like everyone has come and gone.
In the beginning, it was so fun
But now it’s over, no more to come

Dear Soldier, I ask you why!
Why would you make, this poor mother cry?
You point a gun to this innocent boy,
Instantly repelling, his remaindered joy.

Some quiet nights and quiet stars,
Are just a wonderful sight.
The smell, the breeze, the sounds at night,
Nothing feels, quite as right.

My real name is Bryan Santos.
Yesterday my name was resentful,
Tomorrow my name will be forgetful.
My father thinks my name is pride and joy,

Bryan Santos Biography

I was born in Brazil. Was raised alternetavely between the US and there. My family is a mess, but i manage to cope with the problems, which for my age are a lot. Poetry comes to me as a way to express my feelings in an artistic manner. I prefer wirting about romantic situations and feelings as well as humorous topic which come to me at random times. My passion for poetry begun in 5th grade when i learned it along with English for the first time. My teacher Mrs. Kilsey was strict but was understanding towards me and helped me through. I remember singing poems in class and I try to input that same joy in my poems. I don't think higly of my poems much less me as a poet, but i try my best at it and enjoy composing them. I deceided to build a profile for my works thanks to compliments and encouragement from my family and friends. My poems usualy always have a deeper meaning to them and definitely have all of my heart in them. I dont have any poetic influeces nor do I look up for inspirations but I always enjoy a good poem to relax.)

Abrupt Emotions

I feel lost, I feel alone.
I feel like everyone has come and gone.
In the beginning, it was so fun
But now it’s over, no more to come

I played the game, the prize achieved,
To compensate I felt relieved.
But when the game, finally appeased
A pain came rushing, right to my knees.

I felt confused, I felt afraid
To lose the girl, the thought to fade.
Even though it was just one time,
That night had meaning, it was my prime.

I didn’t want, the night to end
Stay the way it should have been.
Later that night, I couldn’t sleep,
To think of her it hurt so deep.

Worse of all, we are not meant to be,
I am not the man, who will make her happy.
There is another, lucky guy in line,
And in her eyes, he is her brine.

But my happiness now revolves around her’s,
And if that means him, I’ll face the worse
I’ll let her be, and in pain I’ll just move on,
But in my heart, she will always be number one.
