Ode To Brother
Here is an ode just for you
our little man with eyes of blue
You make our home so lively and gay
with all those strange things you love to say
Like 'chicken in your soup' and 'cars on your head'
it's all fun and games till it's time for bed
Then it's a hassle and we cause an uproar
you might even throw things outside your door
And then when you settle and we finally relax
you run to the couch and say 'I just want to rest'
Sis and I knew that it was your way
to get mom to let you stay up a bit late
Now that you're seven I want you to know
I loved you then and will continue to do so
