I miss my life, I miss my school,
I miss my work, my daily rule.
I miss the flowers in the parks,
...
When I think of Colour,
What happily comes to mind,
Is a box of new crayons,
And happiness of a special kind.
...
We have a house,
We have four cars,
He pays off every single bill of ours,
No financial worry has ever been mine......
...
I Miss
I miss my life, I miss my school,
I miss my work, my daily rule.
I miss the flowers in the parks,
I miss the fragrance of the dark.
I miss the soft boards, that were "soft",
I miss my life, I feel so lost.
I miss the discipline, I miss the rules,
I miss the fun. the laughter too.
I miss the order, the "Age Old" ways,
I miss, I miss, OH! How, I MISS those days.
I miss the humanity, that seems, O! Lost,
I miss the seriousness, at, Oh! the cost.
I miss the respect. of all things included,
All I have ever known, seems deluded.
I miss the sincerity, students had,
I miss the honesty, I miss it bad.
Day in and day now, it's only fun,
When will they realise, that LIFE has begun.
I love my job, with all my heart,
Education is what, I long to impart.
If only then could, understand,
They are the FUTURE, the rulers of this Land.
"Technology" is all, they wish to master,
Our Human Race heading, toward disaster.
The end of communication, as it was meant to be,
Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat....replace the YOU and ME.
I miss those days, those simple ways,
I hold on to my memories, through all this craze.
