Evergreen - You & Me

As i let you in, then you begin to make things appeasable,
I find myself sitting there on that chair, waiting you to give me a look

I start to think maybe i missed it, missed my chance.....
the chance to see you dance to the beat that life will give us!

We could have been evergreen, in a world were nothing is safe.
but now it would seem to have all been a dream that i created..

So i carry on with my head in the sand wishing things would end,
but it never will, as it would seem the world ain't had its fill with me yet

To go through the indignities we suffer, the degrading moments that we are brought, hoping to find not the one not masquerading - but always they are hidden.

Life is a game - and its a game wist not to play. Finally it is that day!
