Dreams.

Do you ever get those dreams where, You're in this field or you're at school or something but everything is just darker then it should be? Like, Red roses that used to be bloomed but now they're dead, They're black, One petal falling off at a time. Slowly, you can hear every time a pedal falls to the ground, the scratching of it on the cement, the soft sound of wind that flows through your hair, the sky isn't blue, it's more like you are stuck in a sepia toned picture, You can hear memories from your childhood In the background, When you first learned how to walk, Playing outside with your imaginary friends, meeting your first best friend, Seeing pictures of your loved ones that you no longer see. No one really seems to be happy. But yet, You don't feel frightened or sad, You feel like you belong there. Like maybe this could mean you're getting a different start, Maybe you've been waiting for this day where you wake up and you know exactly what you're going to do with your life
