When I Was A Little Baby Fetus

I was a little baby fetus,
Trapped inside my mother's womb.
Finally I popped out of her uterus,
And strutted out of the room.

I continued down the hall,
And hitched a ride on a strolling bed.
It would have been a pleasant drive,
If the patient hadn't been dead.

The nurse turned a super sharp corner,
And I tumbled off the wrinkly, old body.
My head hit the ground,
My cranium- aching and knotty.

I was a little baby fetus,
Trapped inside my mother's womb.
Finally I popped out of her uterus,
And strutted out the room.

I waddled toward a broom closet,
Looking for a place to hide.
A janitor opened the door.
I quickly slipped inside.

A doctor finally spotted me
And said 'What are you doing in there! '
He reached down to grab me,
And I took hold of his hair.

I was a little baby fetus,
Trapped inside my mother's womb.
Finally I popped out of her uterus,
And did not strut out of the room.

I decided to stay with my mother-
Cuddled and cradled in her arms,
While she kissed me sweetly,
I was safe from all harm.

I left the hospital
On a warm, sunny day.
My mother strapped me into the car,
And we were on our way.
