Pain Subsiding

Pain doesn’t subside
It fades away
like the sun
at the end of a long
summer’s day
drift - dart- dance- dissipate
eradicate
relocate
your thoughts
your heart
that’s when the pain
will start
it’s process
of fading
dulling
losing light
gaining light
in another realm
take a walk
take a breath
you will get your balance
back
one foot
then another
fading away
one breath at a time
if you think things
need a
rhyme
or
reason
don’t
because it won’t
breath in
breath out
that’s simply
what life’s
definition is
about.
