Carl R Nicolas Poems

Life is not the routine
of waking, working, sleeping,
and repeating the same quiet circle
until the years fade away.
...

The world may judge you.
It may point its finger,
whisper your name in criticism,
and measure your life
...

I can fake it
for a while... I
can wear the mask of calm with borrowed confidence...and smile...Playing the lead role in a play called I'm doing Just Fine...
...

We must believe,
deep within ourselves
that we are gifted for something...by a purpose
written into the very fabric
...

You are the kind of friend
who comforts the soul
on a lonely night...
...

We have marched miles. We have celebrated milestones... We have tasted brief peace,
we have believed with all our hearts
in the promise of victory...
...

It is the ability to look across the table at a friend, deeply disagree with what they say, yet respect the person who is saying it...

We can disagree,
even in the heat of a fierce debate—
...

Just because you look up
and see a sky painted blue
does not mean
every circumstance in your life
...

I do not have to chase importance,
I do not have to perform for recognition,
when I am already somebody to You...
...

Life's meaning does not lie only
in what happens to us.
It lives
in the meaning we give
...

Some loves arrive quietly,
and some arrive like destiny,
unexpected, undeniable...
...

Sometimes
what you are holding onto the tightest
is the very thing
that is holding you down.
...

The Miracle of Existence.
For life itself
is a tangible gift from God...seen in the breath we take...
felt in the love we share...
...

I wish I could carry the moon...
for the moon alone
is enough
to brighten the whole world...
...

Time is of the essence,
and it was never meant to be wasted...

Life once told this lesson
...

Life does not freeze itself for our comfort.
It does not pause so we can cling to a version of ourselves
that once felt safe...
...

If it's truly over...
Why does the emptiness feel so heavy? ... If it's over…
why does my spirit tremble
like a leaf that just lost its branch? ...
...

There are moments in life
when the warning signs are not hidden,
they are flashing.
Bright.
...

Face the dawn and surrender your journey to the Architect of existence. As the sun's rays ignite the world, raise your hands and your heart, knowing the Creator is near...

In that blinding, glorious warmth, whisper your prayers, seek divine mercy, and commit your destiny to the Lord while bathed in the light...
...

They say life is a red carpet for some, but for me, it was a storm. A tempest of choices, a whirlwind of becoming.

I wish I'd been more careful. How I regret the sharp edges of my youth. But I cannot pause at the altar of regret. I must keep pressing forward.

Carl R Nicolas Biography

Biography: My beliefs: kindness matters more than pride and peace is greater than being right. This is my motto as a seeker, a perpetual student of patience and the sacred cadence of Grace. My pen through poetic journal, is not a tool for applause or attention, but a melodic echo meant to remind a weary world of its forgotten song. It is an instrument of awakening and deep, human connection. Embracing Humanity, through the written word... the goal is to reach outward, listening with empathy, forgiving with a swifter heart, and loving humanity exactly as it is, not as we wish it to be. A living invitation of the work of becoming, to be more human, more kind, and more whole. It is an opportunity for me to live deeper, love fuller, and build a life of purpose that outlasts any material thing. Thank you. Carl Nicolas.)

The Best Poem Of Carl R Nicolas

Is There More To Life?

Life is not the routine
of waking, working, sleeping,
and repeating the same quiet circle
until the years fade away.

Do not believe
that existence was meant
to be measured only
by possessions, titles,
or the fleeting comfort
of surface happiness...There is a tapestry of unseen layers, woven with threads of connection, meaning, and a profound, quiet spirituality...

There is more...More purpose
than simply passing through the days... More meaning
than the mundane rhythm of getting through...

Life is layered like the ocean,
what we see at the surface
is only the beginning... If you feel unfulfilled, take heart. It is not a sign of failure...

Beneath the surface lives
growth,
struggle,
wisdom,
connection,
spiritual awakening,
and the quiet discovery
of who we were truly meant to become... An invitation
to the soul to search deeper...

For life was never meant
to be lived only in comfort,
it was meant
to be experienced
in its full complexity:
the triumphs,
the questions,
the lessons,
the transformation...

Then somewhere,
beyond the ordinary horizon,
there is more waiting for you to find it...
