My Chest

My chest caught in knot

by the thought of knowing I'll

never know who she really is

the chains that hold her back

seems to over whelm her the thought

of giving up gives a tight knot and

shivers down my spine

it tightens my chest like its wrapped

with rope and pulled giving this

unbearable tightening in my heart

that i bleed sorrow and depression

of a wall that can never be removed

latched with a lock and forgotten like

it never existed like it vanished never

never to be spoken of like its a just

a memory of the past that slipped

away like it was a feather from a beautiful

dove's wings from its first flight

i also remember when we toke flight

so bright like an afternoon sight yet

when i think about you my chest

tightens and loses all feeling like the

nerves never existed i wish you could

show me who you really are regardless of

the pain it brings fourth i will be your

warrior ready to fight for your happiness

just like you bring happiness every time i see

think or dream about you.
