1. Carlos de Oliveira, (10 August 1921 – 1 July 1981) , was a Portuguese poet and novelist born in Belém, Brazil, to a Portuguese family which moved back to Portugal in 1923. He graduates from the University of Coimbra in history and philosophy in 1947, and the following year he settles definitively in Lisbon.
