Carlos Gonzalez M. Poems

Within this unescalpable night,
The only place for me to be,
Where I have been accursed,
Dim and bright sometimes,
...

Today I killed everybody.
I killed the smiling child,
And I killed both mother and father.
I killed the medical and priest,
...

So easy it was to forget,
To forget the way I forgot
The purest joy
Of my childhood days,

Dwelling

Within this unescalpable night,
The only place for me to be,
Where I have been accursed,
Dim and bright sometimes,
Attempting to see
While blinded by light
Or vainly searching pathways
By darkness concealed.

Irreversible, relentless time,
Blind, with nothing else but what I feel.
Walking with my bare feet,
Frozen and burned,
Bleeding knees,
Sometimes, not enough times kissed.

And within this all consuming night
I laugh and rest on silent cry,
I embrace emergent beauty,
Delussional dispositions for life,
Sublime and drained fields to die.

Making out with every deity,
Every mighty idol that I find,
Breeding amorphous angels,
Overjoyed and ungrasplable infants,
Me, leaving breathing, bleeding,
Smiling and crying angels's corpses behind.
