There's all these angels in life,
With different shapes and sizes.
Each one with a certain amount to guard.
Some have nine while others one.

Steps Along The Way

As infants we start,
Held up by the ones we love.
On hands and knees we scoot.
We start to cruise around.
With helping hands, we walk,
Stumbling steps, stronger than before.
Soon, without help, we run.
Our stride becomes consistent.
With bumps and bruises,
We continue on our way.
Beginning to slow, we step with care,
Hands that help in every way.
Canes keep balance, while we fade,
Needing to sit, wheeling away.
Once we rest,
Our time is complete.
Remember to thank, every step of the way,
to making out lives, ours in every way.
