Cassie Campton Biography

I don't have a picture perfect life, I'm a foster youth. I deal with pain everyday and writing poetry is one of the ways I cope and deal. Even though I don't have a permant home, and lots of held in emotions I don't let it control my life. I try to make changes currently I'm involved in some panels set up by the PCSEO a foster youth advocacy agency. I've made some recommendations about the foster care system for positive changes that will make foster youths life a bit more normal. I'm a very passionate person about what really matters to me.)

Each tear that falls tonight
is yours to dry
Each of my perilous battles
is yours to fight
Each crack in my trust
is yours to patch
Each object I violently throw
is yours to catch
Each pain filled thought
