Happy Birthday

'happy birthday sweetie
sorry i wasnt there
daddy had work to do
but you know i care'

its the same old story
every year
send me a card
and remind me tht you werent here

have you ever even considered
coming on my birthaday
to see me grow older
and having something to say

im not a little girl anymore dad
but that is what you think
you dont know i understand
how your works more important than me

im turning 14 this year
i have a choice to say
if i never want to see you
or with you i want to stay

i choose to never see you again
because i hate you dad
you did nothing but lie
and make my family sad

so im putting you behind me
forever and foor good
in 2 months youll be out of my life
like i said you would

so dont send me anymore cards
on my birthday every year
cuz from now on
over you, i wont cry a single tear
