Self

Through the shallow depths
A young, beautiful heart wanders
Looking for love,
Only finding the evil lust
She looks,
Where the grass can only die
And the wind can only howl.
Convinced, one is the other.
Oh!
What a fright!
For built tolerance is now changed.
Here is warmth,
A shelter in the midst
But for her a shelter is no refuge.
Shelter now is a home for the bad to nestle and thrive.
She runs from what it is she wants
A soul that has seen nothing else
But the manipulation of manipulation.
Under naïve innocent eye
Lust corrupts the meek child.
Now a torn woman giving in to the outer edges of the mind.
How can such a tiny spec of insecurity be so significant?
For it thrives,
Like all bad does.
Till there is nothing left to engulf.
