The Eternal Bond

I know not to knit memories in words

I tried but failed

‘coz what seems easy is not simple

I tried erasing the lines

but in vain

'coz they are memories already woven in my mind

Like the stars among the vast night of clouds

make no difference

Though the dark clouds try to wipe them out

I know their relation with the sky is eternal

The relation woven with the threads of time - supernatural

The ocean's eternal bond with the shore is the same

though the tide pushes it back from mingling again

The same waves smile

among the smoke of shore line

That's what the memory

that's the eternal bond of mine

That's what my heart's relation with thine
