Comments about Cherry Hazel
He sailed away to a war that wasn't his to fight
and left her hunting on her own 'till the end of the night.
When he wouldn't come back, she
let out a mournful plea.
Since his leaving
her lungs have been heaving
from her within strength
that will force her to find him at great length.
Sadly, their love was not to be,
for she continues to search the land, sand, foam, and sea.
After three hundred years, you can still hear her cry out in yearning,
for the Searcher's love is ever self-burning.
