Broken

Emotions fill my mind
Overflowing through my eyes
Weak and vulnerable
Helpless and alone

Not my proudest moments.

My brain is furious
Longing for reprisal
But restrained by tears
Tears of the fragile

The flesh beneath my chest

My heart is bleeding
Indeed broken
Once a pretty picture
Now a jigsaw
