Waiting is such a bore.
Waiting for love, peace, equality, freedom.
Waiting for an end.

Waiting for a change.
Waiting for something, someone, to step out of the shadows and make a difference.

Waiting for somebody, anybody.
To take the reins and stomp out the obstacles.
Somebody to be a Leader.
Our Leader.

Waiting for a ripple in the water to start a revolution.
To turn the scores around.
To beat the opposing team of oppression.

That Person
will be me.
