I try to avoid his stare, Im shaking like a leaf, I held tightly to my bear, I hear him mumble you little thief. He grabs me by the hair, Please...Daddy let me go, He glanced at me with that evil stare, At that point i knew he had bin drinking with uncle Joe. I watched him place a belt on the kitchen table, He shouted at me saying it's all my fault, I think my Daddys a little unstable, I think what he does in grown-up talk is called assault, . After sevral lashes with the belt my Daddy breaks down in tears, Why does my Daddy leave me so bruised, For now i see him in the corner with many beers, So now i sit here with my bear...wondering when i will next be abused! (This was written after watching a child abuse advert)
