An Elegy Of A Man
A candle burns insistently within my mind,
Steadily it drips, keeping time with my tears,
Its flame trembles unsteadily with the tremors
Of a thousand memories beyond forgetting.
My brightest sun is about to set
To heaven where I am prepared to rest;
Are the birds stopped singing?
Where all the flowers fled?
Why the world seems empty and quiet?
One more days and another night,
I pray to Master of love and light,
Spare me another moment to stay,
But sorry my world, no more I could stay.
My memories shall never rest. Beyond death.
