Mother Of Mercy

Oh sweet mother of mercy
Take me to thee
So that I may see
such exquisite beauty
glowing over a shining sea
of blue oceans and tranquility
Can it be
that I have yet to see
the feeling inside me
of utter trepidity?
Has my essence been absentee
from the wreckage of society
and the pain of my artistry?
Grant me sweet serenity
and the absolute ability
to overcome such harsh pity
So I may enjoy this lucidity
and then just leave me be
so that I may wish for serendipity
and then finally release me.
