My One True Love

My darling, you are the reason I keep going,
My life revolves around you only,
And if I were not to have known you,
My life would come tumbling down.

For you are special,
Unique in your own way,
You are my goddess,
And I will protect you.

You are all ofthese reasons,
And yet I am left wondering,
'Why has she chosen me?
I am not worthy of such beauty.'

But then I remember,
True beauty comes from inside,
And you have these qualities,
And would love the most unmeaningful thing on earth.

I guess that means me,
Because you care for me,
And I am by far not as clever or mezmerising as you,
Inside or out.
