crone control your dragon dragging it's claw
crone your claw dragging too… dragons two
both of you, yes, you anger it's fire to flame
crone soothe your dragon its deep scaly skin

the world became invisible again as snow erased lawns
paw prints, claw and pad prints chipped, gouged, tore
tiny three pronged splayed fork feet lined like stitching
and the seam ran drunkardly, none of it laid down yet
...

feel the hedge the dunnock had slept
its lines a scribble toddlers had drawn
he nested in a pen test on scrap paper
edging fields in barbed wire branches
...

Caecilius est in forum
eyes closed as he spoke
looking as old, ash covered
as the language he was teaching
...

and so there, this world
with the trauma and troubles
while out I saw upon the path
blotches and spatters
...

to the bathroom he came with a comb
and cried with a roar in horror
regretting the stair, did he climb
at what he just saw in the mirror
...

I have a clear quartz sphere that has a galaxy inside
effervescent inclusions of suspended breadcrumbs
a blow of dust snapshot of another dimension who
pay their bills kiss their infants and tend their lawns
...

intense... to begin with, belayed by hours
hewn soliloquy through obverse platitudes
benign, betrayal among friends, in grounds
of open mouths, a kraken of tongues regale
...
