Colin Wormald Poems

1.

I laid there cold and frail with noon sparkling through the stained glass window Casting dancing shadows around the room

Dream of lovers passed, thing I should have done or said
People who I have met and yet to meet, of friends family who gone before and those yet to go
...

When my eyes close at night I know you’re not far away.
Your pillows clouds that comfort me like a women’s cuddle.
You soothe my sleep and stir my mind like soup from a ladle...
You’re angel during the night and your devil at time and keep me awake...
...

Like two ships passing in the night.
They looked into each other’s eyes and
Entered each other’s soul.
For time their hearts were one, drifting on the tranquil sea
...

This is not just another passing day
This is the day to rewind,
to search through your mind.
To find those memorable moments

Dream

I laid there cold and frail with noon sparkling through the stained glass window Casting dancing shadows around the room

Dream of lovers passed, thing I should have done or said
People who I have met and yet to meet, of friends family who gone before and those yet to go
Life has been good, with its ups and downs it’s laughs and tears

The clock ticks for me will there be tears and will I be missed
It’s now time to pay the ferry man and dream the everlasting dream.
