You And Me
She's sitting right there,
What've you got to loose?
Do you want a kiss or not?
So you lean forward:
'Can I kiss you? '
What was so hard about that?
You knew she wanted to.
As gentle as a butterfly,
as perfect as can be;
The kiss that was shared
between you and me.
On My Own
I was so happy that i soared.
I flew up and was on top of the world.
I was right up there on my own.
I flew up. I was on top of the world.
I had flown up much too quickly
and I had made my own girl feel sickly.
I was up their on my own.
I was a sad man on top of the world.
