Gray

In a place so innocent, no pain to endure
a being existed, with essence so pure

It was a beacon of light with radiant beams,
unconstrained, spanning the seas

Brightening the sky, and all below
for all those who witnessed its beautiful glow

Then came a figure blocking its rays
intruding, unmoving, there it stays

The light shined on, but began to fade
as if the figure was of darkness made

The sky turned black, the seas grew cold
the land was taken, from the roots it was pulled

Everything destroyed, a mess not cleanable
by a figure,...
