Mid Winter

Midwinters upon us, cold days are here.
Wind chill is painful, brings stinging brain tear.
Pray to live through and find a true
love.
Build a spaceship together, ride the heavens above.

Can it be that we'll
see the wonders the world unfurls,
from high firmament upon the sky
where infinity tempts the eye.

Oh! to take a chance that there's a place where decay takes little
toll.
Let my sweetheart wife and I cuddle close within our folds

Lord let her be pretty, slender, slim.
To see me excite, healthy and trim.
Please allow us both to attain proper and prim.

Respecting nature, finding peace, mutual gain.
Reaching perfection, moving onto tame.
Mechanics, haberdashery, Lab Technologies.
Timing them together, scoping astronomy.

Learning to cope bravely and kind.
Rushing, open eyes healing blind.
Striving to copy the good and the nice.
A team to adventure decisions dwelt twice.
