My Nightmare.

Three thugs, a green truck, and
A nightmare.
I will never forget
No sleep for days, mind foggy from cocaine.
All I could do is lay there,
No Screaming.
No fighting.
Give them what they want and they will go away.
Head splitting blow elevates me from my nightmare
At least for a little while
I am safe.
Awake, alone, covered in blood
Black and blue,
I am alive.
I begin to run from them, myself
My nightmare.
To this day I will not look back
I will keep
Running...
