New Land

Hands reaching out in the dark
Hoping someone to hold them by and by
Before my soul decays and I lose my spark
Time goes by, my hopes and dreams slowly die
Perhaps there are none around
To see my pain and sigh
Knife in my heart for I am solus
Friendless, loveless, and joyless
Finally I realize that I am a goddamned
Orphan immigrant in a new land.
