Cynthia Bienose Poems

What hold do I have
Of right or of life
To sail this spirit to starve
Please marry me a thought for a wife
...

I stood waiting for a smiling tomorrow
Swimming in the endless mud of uncertainties
my strength and passion to elope
The pace of life, I could not follow

What hold do I have
Of right or of life
To sail this spirit to starve
Please marry me a thought for a wife
My judgement is beclouded
With possessiveness and jeolousy
My thoughts are overwhelmingly flooded
Shouting in the silence of a blind cogency
Feelings lured me to admit I had a hold
But reason dispassonately choked me to reality
I have no right, no hold
I am just a soul in the abundance of neccessity
In the cravings for love and acceptance
To cover this frail lonely distance
