Small Expressions

It's really for my own amusement
This expression, and I use it
To punctuate repayment
Of a barb you placed or traded so to even up the score.
None share your knack to prompt it
So when its writ it's an exotic
No one conversant in the landscape that can recognize the spoor.
Such a fortified condition
Naturally makes few omissions
Wanting none to take the chance the Theban hero did before.
But what desire for perception
Can be woken by perfection
In that scintillating smile that I would ever witness more
