Memories

Shells are falling all around,
Too many men are falling down,
Some are injured, some are dead,
Some are injured inside their heads,
These men have the worst fate of all,
They will live to remember this hell,
They will see the charred bodies, their friends lying dead,
These memories will be forever inside their heads,
And when they die, they'll take to their grave,
Their memories of men we thought so brave.
