Wait for the malignant civilized bits in me-
To wash away with your natural civility.
And mind each drop that tells

Don’t go
Into an oblivious world,
And you leave us all alone
For the new demons to fight;

Wearied by their backpacks on the move;
To go or not to go is a point they yet must prove;
And so life goes.

I am not old;
It’s just the wrinkles on my face-
That tell the storyline of humanity.
And the gales left my skin dry;

She turns yet another leaf-
Another story she revealed;
Another secret is deeply sealed,
And more deeply she dives

If you can walk through the ranks of men
Stretch their lives to a fatal loose end,
If you can talk in the world's deepest den-
Some words that no one else can comprehend,

I would have no heart;
And no heart with which to float
With my face alone facing the blue.
