That Perfect Day

I adored you the minute I knew you were there
My entire world changed from that moment.
I loved you even more the second you were born
My Sweet Little Baby Boy had made his way.
I kissed your tiny hand and held you close
My hopes and dreams seemed to be possible.
I looked into your eyes to discover my blessing
My greatest accomplishment lying on my chest.
I smiled down at you as my heart beat faster
My most precious gift is much more than perfect.
