Silenced Adagio

When the dew begins
To fall, swathing
A forgetful curtain upon
The silenced memories of the past -
Arises in my mind
A piece of broken music;
Trying to joint the lyres'
Long lost strings - which lied apart.

In my struggle to connect
The past with the void
Of future; comes to my mind
The memory of an enthralling Adagio -
Composed long ago.

Gone are those days,
Leaving on the canvas of life
A colourless scenario;
And leaving in my deserted heart
A Silenced Adagio.
