Reality Of Life

Born with a silver spoon but it was taken away from me
My life was planned but is now a mystery
Single parent upbringing, this too shall pass
But it seems like eternity, when shall I scream free at last.

Going through the road not taken
A poem I read and I have never forsaken.
My body eats n gets constipated
while my soul starves and gets dilapitated.

So easy to grasp but still a conundrum
And in my head I hear d beat of a drum
visualising my soul dancing to the rhythm of hope, and independence
But my body still vacillates in dependence

When there is life there is hope
Even when you are falling down the slope
Faith is the evidence of things not seen
Tears of joy my mama sees me on the tv screen
