David Irvine Biography

Hello, my name is David Irvine. I work as Head of Digital for a packaging company in the UK. This means I code websites, create graphics, shoot photography, write articles and a whole world of other stuff I won't bore you with. In my spare time, I like to write poetry. My aim is to bend the mind of the reader. I love writing philosophy, wisdom and other meaningful treats. I own a website called paradoxicalvista.org to which I add content all the time. The aim is to pull all the content together and create a lovely book. My wife takes me all over the place, we have managed to create 4 children; all who are boys. This helps give me a heightened sense of reality. To which I spill out onto empty canvases and create original material.)

The Bridge

Finding the bridge between reality and abstract forms of fantasy
Makes you question the authenticity of actuality
An out-of-body experience
Laced with electric pulses of delirium
Dipping between states designed to keep you embraced
The gap between the bridge of an infinite place.

Feeling numb
Questioning the pollution of the distractive hum
Existence falling into from all that it comes
To this state of mortality that only makes sense to some.

Peering through the gap between both states
A hesitant place for the mind to validate its fate
Lost through the realms of a meditated rate
Softley breathing, to overcome the senseless motion of intensified weight.

The bridge shows you a lost space
A path you must cross, in order to accept this reality to the next place.

Standing between both realms
Looking back and forth for all to tell
Are you ready for the truth to sell?

No ones listening
People can't summon
The awakening from realities spell.
