David Lazar Poems

I love it when it rains
Each little droplet,
Makes it a change.
Distractive wind tries to sway it,
...

A usual rush hour driving,
traffic light stopped me
midst of prosperous skylines of my wealthy city, where I'm dwelling.
...

The Sea in me, is alike in thou too.

Oh brimful ever is my compatriot lies,
Self-immolation was thy final choice.
...

Bowed by my panic life to quietly sit,
By the side of an unsung work to me, compiled long ago.
Began to rejuvenate me like a liver.

Brain Rain

I love it when it rains
Each little droplet,
Makes it a change.
Distractive wind tries to sway it,
Pushing it to south, west, north or God knows.
But it rains again and again.

It's painful and heavy upon the cloud
Let it rain down aloud,
dance its drops against the wind,
calm it down my heart,
soothe it down my pain
bringing it up my future.

Rain rain, Brain rain,
Come again, Brain Rain!
