It's a few minutes pass four
And I'm lost in thoughts
I'm listening to a song by The Corr
Humming the lyrics; not noting what it taught
...

For this calming peace
For weeks I seek
And for my missing rib
I've longed with keen
...

The emotional injuries of recent times
Brings forth many questions to minds
Like, if it's not the devil wearing her smile
Then why does it fell like hell in disguise?
...

Minutes after I smiled at her,
Guilt starts to creep in;
'Father forgive me please',
I said falling on my knees

A Lust War

It's a few minutes pass four
And I'm lost in thoughts
I'm listening to a song by The Corr
Humming the lyrics; not noting what it taught
As I stare motionless at my door
For I'm worried about a war i once fought

They say a man has to be hard to core
No matter what, man up and stand tall
Be strong and look tough: he must be Thor
Hmm! And if it's possible, even be a brick wall
But if expectations at all be core
Then what's reality without pitfalls

I had written about this war before
Heartfelt rhymes, candid lines; i can recall
And although those line are hard to ignore
'Cos to mind i had the rhythm installed
But yet, i still betray the morals i had in store
And damned the consequences that befall

It seems I'm out of options to explore
I'm glad sleep is trying to chip in a little comfort
'Cos no matter the hours I spend to deplore
it seems we both still have a bit of rapport
I want to fall asleep again and snore
'Cos this lust i wish to ort

This lust has taken it's course like before
It's now six and I'm still playing the same song
Still no success and am now bored
I felt Lust's war was long won, I was wrong
And so, I must give in to sleep once more
'Cos it's no use being awake all day long to a lost war.

The End
