Searching mind with an empty heart-
Remembering times from so long ago
Eyes dazed; Expressions hazed-
Wondering why you don't remember me-
...

It's all so easy for a man to say, "I Love You"! -
But I found most won't take the time to show you.
It was a week ago, he called and said, he cared -
He was on his way to see me, but he's not here.
...

I tried to run, I tried to hide-
From everything, I was feeling inside.
The words haunted me, "Sweetheart I'll give you a call."
I should of known, he didn't at all.

Searching Mind With An Empty Heart

Searching mind with an empty heart-
Remembering times from so long ago
Eyes dazed; Expressions hazed-
Wondering why you don't remember me-
Like I do you.
The place you stood-
I wish I could.
The place you call home-
Unlike my own.
Long passed, was once mine too.
Haunting my mind; memories of you.
Standing alone feeling disowned
When will her heart turn to stone
You never had to stand alone
And you've never been disowned.
So why, do you judge me?
For being in a place I didn't want to be!
