Dementia DeSalvo

Dementia DeSalvo Poems

Her hair is sleek, burnt black in a strange disarray
Her lips who knows what lurks there- kisses stollen from innocence lost
where unseen serpents glide
...

Keeping silent
Every day I pray
Now is the time I have to live
Nyx will beckon and to she I will say
...

Often our mind as beings blend
Very seldom meeting twixt
Ever making morsels mount
Rivals reeling, nature does mend

See now, close your eyes, imagine no light

Dementia DeSalvo Biography

Disclaimer: The views expressed in this biography are those of the author/s and may not reflect the official policy or position of the United States Department of Defense, or the U.S. Government. (Or any other country that can't laugh at themselves. Because everyone knows there's a little bit of truth behind every joke and it's hard to laugh at yourself when it's the truth, because the truth hurts...) ...................................................................................................................^ No, that's not a picture of me... (Although... minus the hairy chest, long hair, beard... knife, no, never m\ind. I just don't have a pic of myself, sorry. Here's a self portrait in ASCII, #: >B-|-< HA! well that was fun... So, I've been mulling over the whole 'biography' thing for a while and finally thought of something to add. I've come to the conclusion biography's are best left to writers and too be written about people of interest or who've made a difference (not me, I've never been very good at writing; style, grammar or otherwise... that and my life is full of emptiness...) : _(j/k xD But seriously... I first took an interest in poetry because of a little movie called... 'Il Postino' (I love foreign films) If you haven't seen or heard about this movie (find it and watch it!) It's about a postman who uses poetry to win over the heart of the woman he desires and loves... sappy, but I still liked the story, whatever, the real kicker is Pablo Neruda Aka Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto is the man who helps this postman with his poetry. It made me look into Pablos' works(W-O-W! ! ! I love his stuff) , you could say he really opend my eye's too. Oh, right, a little about moi: S/M/NS PS PW PL, leather, sunroof, good on gas, needs a little TLC(Nothing a little Bondo* won't fix...) : D ...don't take me too serious, though... maybe it's time we did get serious, before it's too late. >whew< Okay so that's my story. And now I think I've developed carpal tunnel syndrome... Again, sorry, no offense intended.)

The Best Poem Of Dementia DeSalvo

Nyx (Goddess Of Night, Mother Of Death, Born Of Khaos)

Her hair is sleek, burnt black in a strange disarray
Her lips who knows what lurks there- kisses stollen from innocence lost
where unseen serpents glide

She plays her divine game, a rolling of the bones the rattle of death's delay
She rides atop her nightmare down through life's eternal passage, to where?
No one way and yet all lead the same
none can hide

We fall and another will take our place free to decay
We are, we have, we live, we weep- all is to be gained, all are at loss,
It's all the same, it's all the same, It's all insane
It's all... Khaos.
