Life In Calabar

I saw the beauty of life yesterday,

standing on the balcony bear feet

on the thirty second floor of this thirty

five storey building in Calabar,

wearing nothing but an under wear and sunglasses,

watching the sun at its peak and at the same time

this streak of water making a pattern of fine lines before me,

I smiled like I always do, then I grinned, then a giggle, then I

laughed twice, to my surprise the sun smiled too,

it blushed with a golden color and hid behind the Obudu hills,

it was the night, dazzling me with extravagant display of fine

glitters, and it was perfect again, I felt the chills,

but i don't have the will to resist a beautiful time with the night in

Calabar.
