Devin Patrick Dawson Biography

I am 16 years old and I started writing when I was 13. Most of my earky works were manga driven and totally chaotic to the point where they did not make sense. So, I tryed poems. I mostly have a horror-suspense poem writing style because I want to show the evil in this world but then I i show the moral of the poem. All of my poems are based on the godly that I have learned and keep trying to learn. I believe that my poem style can help people understand the evil and sin in this earth and still be entertained. :))

Find Me Composure

……….Sweating with no resistance to back me up….. My hands are breaking….slowly the walls creep up on me…… What in the world is going on? Am I still alive? Or maybe….the question is…….am I still dead? ...... I wake up and fall flat on my face. My legs are battered from the flesh wound I suffered….. ….I creep towards the door…..Then I hear a knock……. “Who are you? ? ? ? ? ” I screamed as the figure pulled me. I clawed at the floor at an attempt to get free. “No Dice….” The figure took me towards this place or total darkness. My fingernails are ripped apart as I clawed through the gravel. I try to kick the figure but, every time, I feel this brutal, crushing grip on my legs that make me stop automatically. The figure throws me inside an abandoned building and I scream my heart out as for someone to possibly hear me. “No Dice…” As I sit here, rotting…..I heard a noise. It was the figure. I look at it as it chains me up and takes me toward a deep hole in the foundation of the building. He points towards the deep hole and says, ”REPENT OR FACE DEATH…” I close my eyes and I say no. I lose my voice as I plummet down the pit. “No Dice…” Devin Dawson
