I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and educated at the University of Pittsburgh where I studied literature and writing, and at the University of Dayton School of Law where I earned a JD.

Killing Cupid

The evidence was perfectly clear
Of uncontrollable desire
Of trouble
Trickled in
Since the start
Shredded silk like wild hair
Feathers whirling
Wood splintered useless
Purple stained
Ox trampled
Arrow heads a million glinting shards on the floor
Shattered glass
Confessed to the throttling that had gone on here
As delicate vases of philter leaked sticky love in honeyed puddles
So clear
He had been here mere moments before
Among the hurricane of torn photos
Smashed love songs, love tokens
